There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 4th June. The numbers were 3 – 13 – 21 – 32, six punters matched three numbers. Crossmolina suffered defeat at the hand of Killala in the County Div 1D League in Killala on Saturday evening last after bright opening ten minutes, the visitors were a point up from a Ian Rowland free then in a brisk movement Matthew Keane was on hand to fist past a helpless Patrick Loftus in the Crossmolina goal. With Ian Rowland, Gerard Haran, Mickie Loftus and Dean Loftus tagging on points for the visitors, and Andrew Farrell, Martin Meheady, Kevin Walsh pointing for the hosts to leave the half time score 1 – 9 to 0 – 8.
The pattern continued after the break and by the 18th minute only two points separated the sides 1 – 13 to 0 – 14. Another sloppy goal broke the Deel-Sider’s momentum but they still kicked some great points through Niall Timoney, Thomas McNulty, John Garrett, Nigel Caden.
Injury’s to Fergal Gill, Barry Murphy and Mickie Loftus robbed their side of key players during the course of the game. In the end loosing out in a high scoring game final score Killala 2 – 19 Crossmolina 0 – 20.

Crossmolina National School advanced to the final of the Mayo Cumann Na mBunscol with a comfortable win in the second half over Gael Scoil na Cruiga Westport 7 – 8  to 4 – 5. The Del-Siders were just three points up at the break 3 – 4 to 2 – 4.

Crossmolina Deelrovers are delighted to receive a €272 grant from the Mayo Co Council Discretionary Fund. This fund is available for the purpose of supporting community initiatives to assist with the improvement of amenity and recreational facilities. These funds will be used for the provision of safety lighting around the Club grounds.

Mayo Win in London
Congratulation to our Deel - Rovers club members on the Mayo team that defeated  London in the Connacht Championship on Sunday last both came off the bench Conor Loftus who scored 1 – 2  Cathal Carolan put in a useful shift also and team manager Stephen Rochford on his first Championship game in charge of the team

GAA News
At the Crossmolina GAA Club executive meeting on Tuesday 10th May Congratulation were extended to Conor Loftus, Fionnan Duffy players Joe Keane Selector David Walsh Masseur with Mayo All-Ireland champions  U21team on their wonderful achievement in winning the fifth title in this grade,  to Crossmolina National School on winning the Cumann Na mbunscol Mini Sevens  in Castlebar to their coaches Michael Murphy, Brendan McAndrew Jess Gough and school teachers, also commiseration to Rachel Kearns who played a stormer but ended up on the loosing Mayo Senior Lady’s team defeated by a goal by Cork in Parnell Park  

Active Age Over 55’s
Walking and aerobics for both men and women has resumed on Tuesday’s at 12 noon after the Christmas break in the Crossmolina GAA centre. New members welcome

McHale/Rover Ladys Football
McHale Rovers Ladies Football (which is amalgamation of Ardagh Crossmolina Lahardane Ladies) have starting training for the U8 and U10s Girls  on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm on the Astroturf. Please bring runners or multicogs, no blades allowed on Astroturf. All new members are welcome. Any queries contact Aiden on 0876095311.
