There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto jackpot on Saturday night 8th October. The number drawn were 15 – 17 – 19 – 24,  no punter matched three numbers either and Six tickets were drawn. Martin Flanagan, Bengeary, Crossmolina. Christy Donnelly, Carrowkilleen, Crossmolina. Crossmolina raced into an eight points lead in the opening ten minutes, Brian Benson opened the scoring with a point quickly followed by a goal from the same player, after a great pass over the defenders heads from Conor Loftus. A Crossmolina wide resulted in a second goal after Paul Tiernans short kick out was intercepted by Finaun Duffy who found the net with great precision. Fionan tacked on a point, before Darren McDonnell opened Ballinrobes account with point from a free. James Murphy added one from play from 45m. Brian Benson netted again after another great diagonal ball, this time from Declan Keating. Darren McDonnell pointed a free and Kevin Quinn found the net after a long delivery from midfield fell kindly for him to first time past the helpless Patrick Loftus  in the 21st minute, further two points from Fionan Duffy one free and one from play, Peadar Gardiner raised another white flag, Darren McDonnell and Fionan Duffy exchanged points before the break to leave the half time score 3 – 8 to 1 – 4.
Just after the break Mickie Loftus drove through Ballinrobes defence before passing to Conor Loftus who rattled the net. Fionan Duffy added a point all in side three minutes, further points from Derek Hegarty who fisted over, Conor Loftus from play, Declan Keating and Stephen Duffy. Ballinrobe’s Kevin Quinn scored his second after 18 minutes and David Killeen, Sean Og Collins one each from play and Darren McDonnell and Sub Thomas McNulty exchanged points that saw Crossmolina comfortable winners in the end. Donal Vaughan did not tog for the visitors due to concussion received in the all-Ireland relay

Crossmolina and Naomh Padraig served up a very exciting draw in the county U13 League play-off in Moygownagh on Tuesday evening last the Deel-Siders were leading by a point at half time  3 – 7 to 4 – 3. In a 10 minutes spell dominance after the break Crossmolina raced into a seven points lead with a string of points from James Williams, Jonathan Murtagh, Niall Coggins and Luke Rowland. Two goals from Finn McDermott Cox brought Naomh Padraig from the dead at the end it took a late James Williams point to tie the score Crossmolina 5 – 15 Naomh Padraig 7 – 9

All-Ireland Final Replay Tickets Draw
The winner of the two all-Ireland final replay tickets in Crossmolina Bord Na Nog fund raising draw was Caroline Caden, Deerpek who purchased her line in O’Malleys Bar & Grill. Thank you to everyone who supported the draw.

Basketball New Season
Crossmolina Tigers Girls Basketball underage will resume tonight Monday 5th September for under 10's from second class up.
Thursday for under 12's  5 to 6, under 14's 6 to 7. and under 16's 7 to 8 o'clock
