There was no winner of the Crossmolina Deel-Rovers GAA Club Lotto Jackpot on Saturday night 8th April. The numbers were 1 – 9 – 18 – 32 no punter matched three numbers either and six tickets were drawn; Sheila Rixon, Kinard, Crossmolina, Denise Cawley, Mullenmore, Crossmolina, Noel Hegarty, Dooleeg, Crossmolina, Karl & Josephine Fox, Knockglass, Crossmolina, Declan Hughes, Lacken, Enniscrone, Carmel Kearns, Carrowkilleen, Crossmolina each win €25. Crossmolina U16 team got their County League campaign off to a winning start with a hard earned 5 – 8 to 2 – 12 win over Bonniconlon at St Tiernans Park Crossmolina. Goals win matches and Crossmolina grabbed four in the opening half from Niall Coggins Conor Caden James Gill and Robert Murphy in between Jack Lawrence grabbed 1 – 1 and James Kelly a point Edward Gough with 4 points and Conor Caden one point had the home side in a comfortable 4 – 5 to 1 – 2 in front at the break.
Bonniconlon came back inspired by Midfielder Christan Judge who grabbing seven points Anthony Gallagher raised a green flag Edward Gough was Crossmolina’s only scorers in the second half with 1 – 3 further points from Jack Laurence and Mark Conlon reduced the lead to five points after an all action 60 minutes of fast open football

McHale/Rovers U16 team had a comfortable win over Hollymount at St Tiernans Park on Monday of last week. The visitors started brightly with a goal from Aoife Gibbons and point from Grace Campbell a string of points from Lisa Lavelle Dara Moore and Emly Murray and two goals in the space of a couple of minuets at the end of the first quarter from Alanagh Loftus Curran and Niamh Maughan had McHale /Rovers leading at the break by 2 – 5 to 1 – 1 Further goals from Lisa Lavelle in the 50th minuet and Sub Kyna O’Malley in the 59th minuet saw the home side winners by 4 – 11 to 1 -4

Crossmolina Senior Football team have been drawn against Ardnaree in Sean Duffy Park in the Sweeney Cup 1st round and are at home to Belmullet in round 2. In the North Mayo Junior Championship Crossmolina are at home to Killala in the preliminary round and the winners are away to Ballycroy in the Quarter finals
