This game was over by the 15th minute when Aghamore were leading by 4 – 1 to one point with goals from Michael McNeive palmed effort pass from brother James Alan Freeman low drive to the right of Shane Keane after pass from Brendan Harrison Ross Egan fisted to the net he also added a point Conor Lyons Fionan Duffy pointed frees in the 5th and 25th minutes Brendan Harrison finished the half with another goal to leave the half time score 5 – 1 to 0 – 2 Mickie Loftus goaled in the opening minutes Fionan Duffy gabbed two points Cathal Carolan drilled low past Finnegan after good work by Derek Hegarty and Conor Loftus Ross Eagan Replied with 1 – 1 James Lyons and Alan Freeman added points Brendan Harrison rowed in with a goal and a couple of points Fionan Duffy pointed before Conor Loftus scored a stunning goal from 20m Niall Freeman added a point and sub Darragh Duffy completed the rout with a goal

Crossmolina team and scorers John Tolan Cillian This county U16 League tie was a game of two halves with home side Islandeady dominating the opening 30 minuets racing into a 3 – 6 to 0 -4 interval lead thanks to goals from Kevin Hennelly and Eoin Morris with Edward Gough kicking Crossmolina’s four points Conor McNulty bagged two goals and Adam Langan one and suddenly Crossmolina were right back in the game with only a point separating the sides by the 50th minute. Islandeady introduced a couple of subs and they breathed new life and the scores flowed again with David Moran getting the killer score a gaol and Eoin Morris Cailin Joyce Ethan John Barrett tacked on points. Patrick McAndrew pointed and Edward Gough scored a goal from a penalty to leave the final score 4 – 12 to 4 – 7

The opening minutes of this County League Division 1 A tie At Tiernans Park was dominated by the visitors with three points in the opening five minutes from Conor Finnerty Danny Geraghty and Alan Dillon. Conor Loftus and Peadar Gardiner replied with points each before Jason Gibbons struck one of his trade mark points in the 10th minute Fionan Duffy pointed a 40m Free which was quickly cancelled out by a like score from Stephen O’Malley Fionan Duffy and Cillian O’Connor traded points it was nip and tuck for the last ten minutes of the half with Stephen O’Malley and Fionan Duffy exchanging points and Conor Loftus and Stephen O’Malley grabbed points each before the break to leave the half time score 0 – 8 to 0 – 6 in favour of the West Mayo men. That man Stephen O’Malley who was a constant threat in the opening half struck a hammer blow to the Deel-siders with a goal and a point in the opening two minutes Fionan Duffy replied wit two points Cillian O’Connor an Conor Finnerty extended the lead to six points after 13 minutes further points from Cillian O’Connor two and one a fisted effort from Jason Gibbons subs Derek Hegarty and Ian Rowland replied with two points from play in the 25th and 26th minutes before two goals in the remaining minutes from Cillian O’Connor the first a low drive to the corner of Shane Keane’s net and the second a high ball dropping on the edge of the square which he flicked to the net

Crossmolina Junior team lost out to neighbours Ballina Stephenites by three points 0 – 10 to 0 – 7 in the County Division 1D League tie in Ballina. The home side had the assistance of the fresh breeze in the opening 30 minutes and lead at the break by 0 – 7 to 0 – 1 with Adrian Kelly the scorer in chief for the Stephenites Thomas McNulty grabbed his sides only first half score. Dean Loftus and Thomas McNulty with four points and sub Michael Gallagher pointed for the visitors but in between Brendan Murray tacked on three points to leave his side comfortable winners in the end

Crossmolina got their County Senior League Campaign off to a winning start in Ballindine against Davitts. It was a workman like performance with hard graft a good level of fitness. The opening 30 minutes Crossmolina were well on top Fionan Duffy after four minutes and Peadar Gardiner after nine laid the foundations. Evan Ronane kicked a neat point. Brian Benson finished a great move to the net in the 15th minute, which involved half a dozen players after a quick kick out. Evan Ronane from play and Liam Kearns free reduced the lead in between Fionan Duffy landed a great point from the sideline, further points from Thomas Cafferty, David Howley kept the scoreboard ticking over for the visitors. Liam Kearns and Fionan Duffy exchanged points before the break to leave Crossmolina 1 – 6 to Davitts 0 – 4.
Tthanks to the dominance of Martin McAndrew and Jordan Flynn at midfield this lead was extended straight after the break with copy book move a the first half goal when Mickie Loftus set up Dean Loftus to finish to the net. Liam Kearns and Mickie Loftus exchanged point in the 12th minute Davitts hit a purple patch inspired by Conor Boyle which was followed by points from Liam Kearns and Ronan McNamara who had moved to midfield. Fionan Duffy and Conor Loftus tacked on points. Davitts were denied a goal when Shane Keane pulled off a great save from Evan Ronane in the 22 minute. Liam Kearns and Brian Benson in the 55 minute Cathal Hennelly and Liam Kearns again pointed.

After a closely contested opening to this county Div1d League tie against Knockmore at St Tiernans Park. Crossmolina went on to dominate the remainder of the half with four points from Thomas McNulty and points each from Conor Rowland Joe Keane and Niall Timoney Knocmore had points from Conor Coleman and Shane Farrell to trail by four at the break 0 – 7 to 0 – 3 From the restart the visitors went about wiping out the deficit with a string of points from Niall Gillispie Brian Timlin Conor Coleman Shane Farrell and Mark Rutledge to go into a one point lead after 10 minuets Thomas McNulty quickly tied the score three further points from McNulty in the last twenty minuets kept the Deel-Siders in front Knockmores Brian Timlin replied with two points to leave the final score 0 – 11 to 0 – 10 after a very well contested game played in ideal conditions
